Tough couple of days. My dad felt very dizzy yesterday and stopped to lean on his car. A passer by in the parking lot said, "You okay? You wanna sit down?" and then most importantly, "Can I call 911 for you?" May have saved my father's life. You know, I won't ever know this man's name, or his look of concern as he spoke to my father, but I will always remember the way Dad spoke of this stranger and his random act of kindness towards my father. Dad is fine, and staying put in the hospital while he gets things checked out. The cat-scan was clear, his blood counts are where they want them to be, and today and tmrw they are looking at his heart. It may be his blood pressure meds that are off, or it may not. Either way, he's not moving until they find out. I like my Dad's outlook on it though, "This was a God-send. He put me in here to catch whatever it is BEFORE it becomes something bigger." Thank you Heavenly Father, and thank you kind sir who found a moment to spare, a moment in his busy day, that may have given our family many more precious moments with our father. What greater gift?
