Our 4th graders jumped right into learning all
about our state of California. They dressed up
like the native inhabitants of this area, the Indians,
and participated all day long in Indian culture!
First, they each got to think up Indian names for themselves. Niko chose, "Fierce Hawk", and Lauren chose, "Moonlight on Dancing Waters". Then, they made bead necklaces, tee-pees, indian
fried bread with cinnamon sugar, and cornbread!
Both kids said, "Those were some of the best things
I've ever tasted in my life!"
